Replacing an old fuse board with a modern consumer unit in Nottingham

A consumer unit distributed mains electricity to different circuits throughout a property. The advantage of modern consumer units over old fuse boards is that if a 'short' or overload occurs, you don't have to fiddle about changing fuse wire: the problem can be isolated, fixed and the affected circuit, switched back on. It's also advantageous to have a consumer unit like this as different circuits can be easily isolated to allow electrical installations to take place.
In this case we also made provision for a wired Ring doorbell - a really useful feature the prevents the need for charging the battery of a ring doorbell.
